| The EchoLink
gateway is run on the KB9WCO-L local link from Plainfield, Illinois (U.S.A.). The EchoLink gateway station consists of a computer
that is connected to
the internet via an interface (ULI) "black box". The black box is interfaced
to a 2 meter radio that currently operates on a frequency of 146.460 on
the 2-meter band. The gateway
computer is able to connect audio from the internet to the link input and
the link output audio to the internet. The following
is a brief description of how to access the EchoLink gateway node on the
KB9WCO linking system. For specific questions on operation on the KB9WCO
